The S1816e multi-port video encoders are especially effective in large-scale applications that require high-quality video, delivering triple-stream, H.264 and MPEG-4 video up to D1/30 frames per second on all 8 or 16 ports. The Nextiva S1800e Series incorporates industry-leading H.264 video encoding technology for superior imagery and optimal bandwidth utilization. The encoders optimize use of storage resources — reducing use of network bandwidth and storage by up to 50 percent over MPEG-4. With triple streaming, the encoders also deliver greater flexibility enabling video to be viewed at high resolution with excellent image clarity, but stored at lower resolution.
